PHP Developer Position Summary: Our partner, a top-notch tech company that specializes in making the parking life easier and user-friendly is seeking to add a highly skilled and motivated PHP Developer to join their team. In this role you will be responsible for creating efficient, scalable, and manageable enterprise-level software using open-source technologies (PHP, Laravel, JavaScript). You will work closely with the development team to deliver innovative solutions for the clients. Experience and Education: Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or related field/experience 2+ years of full-stack development experience with PHP, JavaScript and related technologies Experience with modernization of legacy systems Skills and Strengths: PHP Laravel LAMP JavaScript HTML/CSS3 MySQL AWS OOD/OOP Techniques Microservices REST APIs Modern architecture GitHub/Bitbucket Agile Scrum Methodologies Node.js (a plus) Primary Job Responsibilities: Create features across the entire development stack while maintaining existing code. Develop successful integrations and web services for large-scale platforms. Design and implement database schemas, queries, and optimization strategies. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and provide constructive feedback. Troubleshoot and debug issues, and perform thorough testing to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
